Organizing a geo-ICT Hackathon in Bamako, Mali

Youth unemployment is an enormous challenge in Sahel countries like Mali. Yet we have met many talented young men and women who can play a very positive role in their country’s development — entrepreneurship is key. That is why HSS is organising a hackathon in Bamako later this year: a two-week workshop to develop ideas across ICT, remote sensing and mobile apps. With Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO), NSO – Netherlands Space Office and Orange Corners.
